PURPOSE:To allow the reduction of cost and the enhancement of accuracy without increasing the working tolerance of a stamper by providing inner and outer peripheral continuous projecting parts so as to hold an information recording region therebetween on the stamper and providing a means for positioning the stamper with the inner and outer peripheral continuous projecting parts of the stamper as a reference on the metallic mold. CONSTITUTION:The inner peripheral continuous projecting part 24 and the outer peripheral continuous projecting part 25 are provided on the stamper 21 so as to hold the information recording region therebetween. The positioning means for positioning the stamper 21 with the inner and outer peripheral continuous projecting parts of the stamper 21 as a reference is provided on the metallic mold. The eccentricity of the information recording region and a rotating center hole is, therefore, easily adjustable at the time of mounting the stamper 21 on the metallic mold. The cost is reduced without increasing the working tolerance at the time of forming the rotating central hole 22 of the stamper 21 and the working accuracy of the rotating central hole 22 of the molding substrate is improved without generating the mounting error at the time of mounting the stamper 21 to the metallic mold.
