The differential gear has a gear-housing in which is pivot-mounted a driven differential cage (1), and which has straight or slanting toothed driven wheels (5, 6) which are coupled by means of axially parallel compensating wheels (7, 8). The differential cage (1) has a housing-part in which are holes for taking the compensating wheels as axial through-holes with a constant inner cross-section. USE/ADVANTAGE - The differential gears have asymmetrical torque distribution.
