Described is a mattress support framework comprising an array (1) of flexible slats (2) running perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the bed, each slat consisting of two laminae (6, 7) located one above the other and held a given distance apart by moulded elastic elements (3). Mounted on the underside of the lower lamina (7) of each slat (2) are elastic mounting elements (4) which support the bed framework (1) on a solid frame. |
