PURPOSE:To prevent vibration by forming a pressure chamber on each side of a vibrationproof rubber body arranged in an external cylinder in the direction to cross it for holding an internal cylinder and maintaining a position to support a vibration body constant. CONSTITUTION:Pressure chambers P1 and P2 are formed on both sides of a vibrationproof rubber body 3 arranged in an external cylinder 1 in the direction to cross it for holding an internal cylinder 2 respectively. This vibration isolator has such constitution that the actual spring constant of the vibratioproof rubber body 3 is changed by pressing the chamber walls 4 of the pressure chambers P1 and P2 to both side faces 3a and 3b of the vibrationproof rubber body 3. This constitution avoids such wrong state that the position, at which a vibration body is supported, is varied as the spring constant of a vibration isolator varies. Therefore; vibration can be prevented. |
