PURPOSE:To stably drive a process line by providing a detecting means for the rate of change of sped giving a signal corresponding to the rate of change of the difference between the material speeds on the inlet and outlet to actuate a slave side controller in accordance with this signal. CONSTITUTION:A signal corresponding to the rate of change of the difference between the speed of material 4 on the inlet and the speed of material 4 on the outlet in the looping device is obtained by the detecting means 71 for the rate of change of speed. This signal corresponds to the change of tension of a slave side looper device 1 generated when the material 4 in the looper device is accelerated or decelerated and an effect based on the change of tension can be removed by actuating the slave side looper device 5 in accordance with this signal. |
