<p>PURPOSE:To continuously prepare product oxygen gas and to prevent the overload operation of vacuum pump by opening the vacuum pump to the atmosphere on the suction side thereof at the time of an oxygen pressurizing process to suck and discharge the atmosphere and continuously allowing gas to flow to the vacuum pump. CONSTITUTION:A process wherein raw material air A is supplied to adsorbing towers 1, 2 packed with an adsorbent to take out adsorbed and separated product oxygen gas, a vacuum regeneration process evacuating the adsorbing tower completed in the adsorbing process to regenerate the adsorbent, an oxygen injection process supplying oxygen gas to the adsorbing tower completed in the vacuum regeneration process to discharge the gas desorbed by oxygen to the outside of the system and an oxygen compressing process supplying oxygen gas to the adsorbing tower completed in the oxygen injection process to pressurize the adsorbing tower are successively repeated to continuously obtain product oxygen gas. A vacuum pump 4 is opened to the atmosphere on the suction side thereof at the time of the oxygen compressing process and the open air is sucked and discharged to allow gas to continuously flow to the vacuum pump 4. As a result, the overload operation of the pump 4 is prevented.</p> |
