<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a card system having a simple structure and capable of using an extremely thin card by identifying a specific person on the basis of the presence of the echo from a card to the identifying frequency signal sent out of an identification apparatus. CONSTITUTION:For example, when the carrying person of a card 30 approaches the door provided on an identification apparatus 20, the antenna 21 of the card 30 receives the identifying frequency signal sent out of the apparatus 20. When this receiving signal corresponds to the LCX parallel resonance circuit of the card 30, the resonance circuit is resonated and the echo due to a resonant current is received by the antenna 32 of the apparatus 20 by electromagnetic coupling. When the LCX parallel resonance circuit does not correspond to the identifying frequency signal, no echo is generated. Next, the carrying person is identified to be a predetermined specific person from the presence of the echo by the identification apparatus 20. For example, the electric lock 26 provided on a door is unlocked to make the carrying person accessible. That is, the card 30 has no power supply and may be simply constituted so as to have only the antenna 31 and the LCX parallel resonance circuit.</p> |
