<p>PURPOSE:To easily collect aldehydes on the spot by arranging a cartridge heating box contg. a cartridge coated with 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine, a gas suction device, etc., in one box. CONSTITUTION:The automobile exhaust gas at >=70 deg.C is introduced into the cartridge 5-1 obtained by coating a solid adsorbent with 2,4- dinitrophenylhydrazine at the flow velocity of <=0.5l/min to collect the aldehydes in the exhaust gas. The cartridge heating box 4 contg. the cartridge 5-1 having a gas inlet pipe 2 and a gas outlet pipe, a gas flow velocity meter 8, a gas flowmeter 10 and a gas suction device 9 are arranged in one box 11. As a result, the transport, preservation and analytical operation are facilitated, and the aldehydes in the automobile exhaust gas are easily collected on the spot.</p> |
