PURPOSE:To obtain the so-called unwashed rice without requiring washing or dipping of rice prior to cooking thereof by dipping and washing polished rice in an aqueous solution of starch in a short time, then draining water and drying the rice. CONSTITUTION:Polished rice is dipped and washed in an aqueous solution of starch in a short time and water sticking to the surface of the polished rice is then drained and dried to afford the objective unwashed rice. |
