POLYOL COMPOSITION AND USE THEREOF

PURPOSE:To obtain the title new composition having excellent workability during production of a rigid polyurethane foam and physical properties of foam similar to those of conventional method even by the use of a hydrofluorocarbon having extremely low pollution as a blowing agent, comprising specific two kinds of polyol components. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition comprising (A) a polyol component obtained by adding 1-9mols alkylene oxide (AO) based on 1 equivalent amino group of polyphenylpolyxylylenepolyamine and (B) a polyol composition prepared by adding 0.5-6.5mols AO based on 1 equivalent active hydrogen of an aliphatic polyhydroxy compound (e.g. ethylene glycol) or 0.5-3mol AO based on 1 equivalent active hydrogen of an alkanolamine (e.g. monoethanolamine). The blending ratio of the component A/B by weight is preferably 0.1-4.
