PURPOSE:To facilitate the making of a wire mesh screen by inserting a wire mesh screen into an air tunnel for inspection of wire mesh screens to perform an inspection depending on a wake. CONSTITUTION:The tip of an air intake section of an air tunnel 7 forms a bellmouth 8 and a honeycomb 9, a rectifying mesh 10 and a wire mesh screen insertion part 11 are provided near the intake section. A Pitot static pressure tube 13 and a honeycomb 14 are provided at the downstream of the intake section. As unevenness caused in the air flow passing through screen 4 is measured with the tube 13, the screen 14 is removed to renew the mesh and thus, a screen 4 is completed to enable the simulation of the intended distribution of wake. |
