PURPOSE:To release water vapor dispersed from vegetables properly and keep an interior of a container at a humidity suitable for vegetables or the like by a method wherein a cold heat accumulation material is arranged in an upper spacing formed by an inner case in a thermal insulating box having a double-wall and a thermal insulated case and a top surface of the inner case is provided with an aeration port having a humidity transparent film. CONSTITUTION:A top surface of an inner case 25 has a flat-plate like film module 27. The film module 27 is comprised of a transparent film 27a and a plastic flat plate 27b having an opening hole for supporting the film module. As the fresh plant or the like A are stored in a transporting container 23, an interior of an inner case 3 is kept at a high humidity by a moisture dispersed under an aspiration of the fresh plant or the like A or its dispersion action. Moisture more than a saturation humidity is transported from the film module 27 arranged at the top surface of the inner case 25 gradually to the frozen cold heat accumulation material 26 acting as a cooling source. Interior of the inner case 25 can be kept at a high humidity suitable for the fresh plants or the like A such as vegetables. The transporting container 23 is of a double-walled structure, and the fresh plants or the like A can be cooled indirectly without direct advancing of the cold air into the inner case 25, resulting in that the fresh plants or the like can be transported without being dried. |
