Current economiser device for the power supply of resistive electric loads, especially the resistance 3 for the heating of the rear window 5 of a vehicle, via a series of insertion/disinsertion cycles. The resistive load 3 is initially energised for a predetermined period of time To of approximately 3-4 minutes, after which the power supply is interrupted if the number of revolutions of the engine of the vehicle drops below a predetermined value.
