The subject of the present invention is a hydraulic lung for growing plants. It consists of a tray including a double bottom (3) one of which is perforated and supports the substrate (5), the space between the two bottoms (2, 3) forming a leaktight chamber (4) into which a pump (7) can periodically eject some liquid pumped from a reservoir (G), thus driving out air from the said leaktight chamber through the substrate (5), and means allowing the liquid to return to the said reservoir after a given level has been reached in the leaktight chamber, giving rise to air being sucked through the substrate. It is intended for growing all types of plant, out of the ground, both for professional and for domestic use. <IMAGE> |
