<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to supply a liquid to spaces forcedly, surely, and sufficiently so as to stir and mix the liquid and a gas each other efficiently by supplying the liquid to the spaces utilizing the liquid-sucking up action of an inner cylinder rotating at high speed. CONSTITUTION:A straight cylindrical outer cylinder 2 is so put in atmosphere of a gas to be mixed as to project the upper open mouth 2b out of the surface level of a liquid to be mixed. A straight cylindrical inner cylinder 2, which is going to be rotated at a high speed, is longer than the outer cylinder 2 and has an extremely smooth outer surface and is concentrically inserted into and attached to the outer cylinder 2 in the whole length of the outer cylinder. The space S between the inner cylinder 1 and the outer cylinder 2 is made as narrow as possible within a range as far as the liquid can invades the space S at the time of high speed rotation of the inner cylinder. Further, lower end of the inner cylinder 1 projecting out of the lower part of the outer cylinder 2 is opened and a water-draining outlet 1b is formed in the upper part of the inner cylinder 1. As a result, stirring and mixing a liquid and a gas is carried out efficiently.</p> |
