PURPOSE:To miniaturize and economize the device and to suppress retransmission due to missing information by sending a transmission suppression signal commanding the transmission stop of a transmission data to a data terminal when a prescribed quantity of packet information is stored in a transmission buffer memory. CONSTITUTION:A data terminal 1 is accommodated and connected to a terminal interface device 10 on one terminal and connects to a channel of an electronic exchange via a data circuit 2 on the other hand. A storage quantity detection section 17 of a suppression signal transmission means 16 checks the storage state of a transmission buffer memory 12 as the storage quantity and outputs a suppression command signal when reaching a maximum storage quantity to be stored in advance. The suppression command signal is sent to a collision state detection section 14 and also to a selection section 19. The selection section 19 sends the suppression command signal to a transmission line of a data terminal of reception packet information while receiving the suppression command signal. Thus, the device is miniaturized and economized and retransmission due to missing of packet information is minimized.
