PURPOSE:To improve the airtightness of a socket body by integrally forming an annular wall, an arm and a pair of elastic claw walls forming a taper surface in the connector wherein a socket body is coupled to a connector body and pipes assembled into the connector body are connected to each other. CONSTITUTION:Seal ring members 6 are internally fitted to the small bore space 3' of a connector body 1, and a socket body 8 fastens the rear ends of the members 6 in a large bore space 3 of the body 1. The annular bulge wall part P' of piping assembled into the connector body 1 is resiliently pressed for connection. The socket body 8 forms an annular wall 7 for pressing the seal ring members 6, an arm 7' and a block-like pair of elastic claw walls 5 forming taper surfaces 5. As a result, the whole of a product can be made compact and easily laid in a restricted area. Also, sufficient airtightness can be maintained for a long period. |
