PURPOSE:To increase the extent of rigidity in a baggage box and prevent vibration and noise from occurring as well as to secure the storage capacity of baggage by clamping both top and bottom sides of a baggage box to the vertical frames of a body frame, while bulging either of the sides of the baggage box to the outside. CONSTITUTION:In this motorcycle, a power unit 30 consisting of an engine 32 and a transmission case 34 extending to the rear from this engine is supported on a body frame 10 so as to be vertically shakable. In a rear part of this power unit 30, there is provided with a unit-swing type rear-wheel suspension system holding a rear wheel 36. In the above constitution, there are provided with a lower frame 14, which extends to the upper part aslant after having extended to the lower part aslant from a steering shaft cylinder 12, and an upper frame 16 which extends to the rear from the steering shaft cylinder 12 and its rear end is attached tight to the lower frame 14, respectively. Then, a baggage box 68 is installed in the space between these upper and lower frames 14 and 16, and both upper and lower sides of this baggage box 68 are fix to these vertical frames 14, 16, while either of the sides is bulged to the outside. |
