PURPOSE:To obtain synchronized operation of high accuracy with a simple mechanism by controlling a clutch mechanism in accordance with the repulsive force of magnetic bodies and performing paper feeding simultaneously with inputting of a synchronizing signal in a copying machine. CONSTITUTION:A register roller 1 feeding paper 3 synchronously with the revolution of a photoreceptor is connected to a driving system 4 via a clutch mechanism 4. When the synchronizing signal from a control system is applied and DC voltage of the polarity reversed from a movable magnet body 7 is applied to a stationary magnet body 9, the attracting parts of the bodies 7 and 9 assume the same polarity and repulse each other instantaneously, then the body 7 turns around the pivotal axis of a detaining arm 6 to release the pawl body 5a of a mechanism 5, by which driving power is transmitted to the roller 1 and the paper 3 is fed together with the synchronizing signal. When the paper 3 passes between the rollers 1 and 2, the body 9 is also de-energized, and the bodies 7 and 9 attract again to release the mechanism 5. |
