<p>PURPOSE: To prevent the temperature ruse of a connector main body by applying a force, which deforms a grip material, to one front end part of the connector main body and irradiating an adhesive with light so as to fix the front end part of an optical fiber in a mouth piece. CONSTITUTION: A mouth piece 30 to support an optical fiber 2 us attached in the front end part of the connector main body, and a deformable tubular grip material 50 is inserted to one front end part of the connector main body, and a hardening adhesive 40 is charged into the mouth piece. An external sleeve 3 made of plastics is removed from the end part of an optical fiber cable 1, and the exposed part in the end part of the optical fiber is put in the mouth piece. A force which deforms the grip material 50 so as to grip the front end part of this sleeve is applied to one end of the connector main body, and the adhesive is irradiated with light so as to surely fix the front end part of the optical fiber in the mouth piece. Thus, the optical fiber cable and the connector main body cannot have a high temperature.</p> |
