<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a stabilized liquid-level indicating output signal by using a linking rod having a structure for suppressing sudden change in output signal as a linking rod for linking a float and a buoyancy detecting device part. CONSTITUTION:A liquid level detector is composed of casings 2 and 3, a float 4, a linking rod 5 and a buoyancy detecting device part 6 which detects the apparent weight of the float, converts the weight into a liquid level and outputs the liquid level as a signal. The lower casing 3 is linked to a structure whose liquid level is measured through a communicating pipe 7. The liquid level in the structure whose liquid level is measured is reproduced in the lower casing 3 based on the principle of the communicating pipe. As the detailed structure of the linking rod 5 for suppressing the sudden change of the output signal, the following structures are suitable: an annular rod structure having the cross-sectional shape of (D) which is orthogonally intersected with a major axis; a rod structure of (E) formed of a hollow member in a polygonal shape having a space part at the inside; a rod structure of (F) wherein fin-shaped reinforcing plates extending in the direction of the major axis are provided at the outer surface part; and a rod structure where coupling rings are provided at one or two parts of the intermediate positions in the major axis at the outer surface part.</p> |
