PURPOSE:To prevent securely the runaway of a program and process a film by detecting a signal generated on every round of the program, and sending a reset signal to a microcomputer and also generating a driving signal for external equipment unless the signal is generated. CONSTITUTION:An automatic developing machine drives a driving device 26, temperature controller, drying device 13, et., under the programmed control of the microcomputer 18 to process a film automatically. A pulse signal is generated for a CPU20 on every round of the program and inputted to a system monitoring means 27. If the pulse signal is not inputted to the monitoring means within a specific time owing to an instantaneous power failure, etc., the CPU20 generates the reset signal and driving signal, and the reset signal is inputted to RAM21 and input and output ports 23 and 24 to reset them. The driving signal, on the other hand, is inputted to a driving circuit 25 to drive the driving device 26, processing the film being processed. |
