TONER IMAGE FORMING METHOD

PURPOSE:To obtain stable image quality by determining the replenishing amt. to a liquid developer from the concn. of the toner in the liquid developer and determining exposing energy from the resistance value of the liquid developer. CONSTITUTION:The liquid toner 3 in a developing section 2 is stored in a developing soln. tank 4 and is supplied through a pipe 6 from an upper developing electrode 7 to a photosensitive body 1 by a pump 5. This pipe 6 is partly transparent and has a lamp 10 and a photodetector 11 for converting the quantity of transmitted light to electricity in this transparent part. A pump 14 connected to a concd. toner tank 13 contg. the concd. toner 12 is operated when the transmitted quantity rises to the value higher than a reference value. The concd. toner 12 is thereby replenished into the developing soln. tank 4. Electrode plates 14 exist in the tank 4 and the resistance value of the liquid toner is determined by impressing an AC voltage to these electrode plates. The exposing energy is determined by this resistance value.
