DUST REMOVING FILTER FOR AIR CONDITIONER

摘要

PURPOSE:To impart long use life by arranging filter passages composed of a filter element and lattice-like opening passages each having a side wall formed thereto from a fiber capable of electrostatically attracting dust. CONSTITUTION:A filter 10 consists of filter passages 14, lattice-like opening passages 16 and the partition plate parts 18 arranged between these passages and these constitutional elements are formed from the same nonwoven fabric. The flat surface of the nonwoven fabric is arranged to each of the filter passages 14 so as to cross an air passing direction and arranged to each of the opening passages so as to become parallel to the air passing direction. The nonwoven fabric can electrostatically attract dust in air by the action of its electret fiber and dust is removed from air in the filter passages 14 and the lattice-like opening passages 16 by electrostatic attraction action. By this method, a fiber wt. basis can be increased without increasing pressure loss.
