PURPOSE:To ensure switching to variable speed control corresponding to the time of ABS operation when the speed of change of pulley-rotating speed rela tively becomes large with respect to the variable speed of a continuous variable transmission by outputting ABS (antilock brake system) operation judgement signals. CONSTITUTION:An ABS operation judgement unit 82 of continuous variable transmission control unit 40 constantly inputs the change of speed of primary- and secondary pulleys-rotating speeds from calculation units 80, 81 and variable speed signals from a calculation unit 53 to judge the time of ABS operation. In this case, when ABS control is performed by braking of a vehicle, the speed of change of pulley rotating speed relatively becomes greater with respect to the value corresponding to the variable speed of a continuous variable trans mission, and the judgement unit 82 outputs ABS operation signals to a control signal hold unit 83. Thus, even when ABS operation signals from ABS side are not inputted, switching to variable control corresponding to the ABS opera tion time can be surely performed. |
