The interface according to the invention allows the connection of an apparatus for searching for victims of avalanches (9) to a socket (28) of the internal telephone network (25) of a helicopter equipped with a device having a transmission threshold (30). It comprises means making it possible to apply to the socket (28) both the detection signal transmitted by the apparatus (9) and an additional signal the frequency of which lies in an inaudible frequency range and the level of which is situated above the said threshold. The application of the additional signal makes it possible to transmit the detection signal, whatever its level. <IMAGE>
