摘要 <p>A method for continuously carrying out, in an aqueous medium, a chemical alteration of a hydrophobic organic substance, by means of catalysis thereof in polymeric microregions using a macromolecular catalytic system which is soluble in said medium in the form of aggregate or monomolecular microglobules or the like. The method is characterized in that it takes place in a reactor comprising a filtering device which can hold onto said polymeric microregions while letting through the molecules of the reaction product or products, in that a reaction medium is placed or prepared in the reactor and comprises a solution of said macromolecular catalytic system in an aqueous medium, in that a solution of said hydrophobic substance is gradually and continuously or intermittently inserted into the reactor and can chemically react in said macromolecular catalytic system to give one or more non-hydrophobic reaction products, in that the reaction medium is simultaneously filtered so that its volume remains substantially constant, and in that the filtered liquid is recovered at the outlet of the filtering system. The method can be used particularly in hydrolysis and basic catalysis deprotection reactions.</p>
