PLASTIC CONTAINER FOR FILLING LIQUID MATERIAL THEREIN

PURPOSE:To provide a container free from breakage when dropped, light in weight and good in handling convenience and free from the contamination of liquid contents upon unsealing it by a method wherein a pair of concave members having flanges at the top is heat sealed at the joint faces of the concave parts and a means for pouring out liquid material from the container is sealed in such a way as to permit an easy unsealing. CONSTITUTION:A container 1 is the standing container formed by making joints between a pair of vacuum or pressure formed concave members 10, each having a flange-like part 12 at its top, with the mating peripheral edges 3 of concave parts 11 heat sealed and with the end face formed by the parts 12 capable of resting vertically on the floor. The means for pouring out liquid contents 2 from the container comprises a discharge opening 4 whose cross-sectional area is smaller than the average of the smallest cross-sectional area in a discharge passage and the cross-sectional area of the container cut off by a plane parallel to the surface of the floor and an unsealing means 5 for permitting a seal 51 to be opened by pulling tabs 52 apart to pour out the liquid material. In this manner the container can be opened easily and safety and there is no contamination of the contents upon unsealing.
