The support-unit for a coupling mechanism (10), especially for a vehicle, is contained by a support-flange (11) with at least one intermediate piece. The support-unit is fixed to a shaft (13) by means of screw-fixtures (12) going through the flange (11) and intermediate piece. Attachments engage with the fixtures (12) and with the support-flange (11) and intermediate piece and consists of at least one clamping-disc. USE/ADVANTAGE - The single support unit enables the flange and intermediate piece to be clamped lengthwise between the heads of the fixtures and the attachments.
