The bicycle saddle comprises a cover (2), a carrier (4) and a support. Between the saddle and the cover, at least in the region under the bones, the saddle includes an air cushion (1) which can be inflated and has the same shape as the saddle. The cushion (11) is integrated in or underneath the cover (21), and the hardness of the saddle surface is controlled with a valve and an air pump. The cushion is made of elastic material, esp. synthetic foam. The cushion may comprise two air cushions. ADVANTAGE - The hardness of the saddle is adjustable according to the weight of the rider.
