PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain an enough strength with an easy procedure and a treatment in a short time by irradiating a polyphenylene sulfide molding with UV rays and covering and adhering the irradiated face through an adhesive. CONSTITUTION:After a polyphenylene sulfide molding is irradiated with UV rays, the irradiated face of each polyphenylene sulfide molding is adhered through an adhesive. The UV rays irradiation is performed by using UV rays with wave length in a range of 100-400mmu. The irradiation dose differs depending on the kind of PPS and is ordinarily 2mW.hr/cm<2> or more, pref. 40-60mW.hr/ cm<2>. As the adhesive used, an epoxy adhesive is pref. used. |
