The support equipment for mining roadways consists of a floor member (14), a roof cap (11) and hydraulic jacks (17). A moving device (19, 20, 21) shifts the machinery towards the face. A lifting system with a lifting jack (22) raises the floor member (14). - The lifting jack (22) is on a sliding mounting between an upper position in which it can be moved out to allow the end of the the roof cap (11) can sink to a lower position. |
