PURPOSE:To correct stored contents by keying from the external by connecting a picture editing memory to a picture information processor and storing partial area specifying information in said memory. CONSTITUTION:When picture information is inputted from a picture information input device 7 to a picture information storing part 17, the input information is displayed on a picture information display part 25. To set up an editing area, the operator outputs an editing area clear command a1 from a keyboard 5. Consequently, a CPU12 initializes the contents of an editing area specifying information storing part 16. Then the operator output an editing area correcting command a2 and a carsor generator 15 displays editing area correcting carsors 27, 28 on a display part 25. operation of a key locates the correcting carsors 27, 28 on positions 27a, 28a of a display part 25a. When the operator outputs an editing area adding command a3, the CPU12 reads out the positional information of the carsors 27, 28 from the carsor generator 15 and adds a square area specified by both carsors to the editing area specifying information storing part 16. Consequently, the display part is changed as shown in 25b. |
