An advertising sign comprising a tapered ground anchored post, with its smallest diameter at its top section and its largest diameter at its bottom section; a flat, rigid frame, destined to support an advertising sheet; and a pair of rigid arms transversely extending from the frame to secure same by friction fit to an intermediate section of the post in substantially vertical position, releasably lockingly both against further downward sinking thereof along the post and positively against translational motion thereof around the post.
