PURPOSE:To increase a space for exchanging a seal member so as to improve exchange workability by mounting the seal member, which prevents leakage of lubricating oil, to a rotatably supporting part of a shaft, protruded from a gear box, and making it possible to remove a holding member from the shaft in a direction perpendicular thereto. CONSTITUTION:In an elevator hoist, an annular elastic unit 13 serving as a seal member for preventing leakage of lubricating oil is mounted to a rotatably supporting part of an output shaft 6 protruded from a gear box 3. A holding member 14, which is fitted around the output shaft 6 to hold the annular elastic unit 13, can be divided and made removable from the output shaft 6 in a direction perpendicular thereto. When the annular elastic unit 13 is replaced, the holding member 14 for holding this annular elastic unit 13 can be removed from the output shaft 6. In such a way as stated above, a space between the gear box 3 and a rope wheel 11 is widened to improve workability. |
