Sanitation unit for dogs which is designed to collect and dispose of dog dirt. The invention relates to a lavatory unit to be installed in a public or private place for the hygienic disposal of dog dirt. It consists of a vertical central part (1), a horizontal receiving panel (2) permitting disposal towards a gutter or a syphon trap (3). The device functions with a flushing mechanism (4) activated by a foot control (5). It is protected by an overhanging horizontal cover element (6), on which is mounted a display system (7). <IMAGE>
