<p>PURPOSE:To complete the treatment of organic waste water by means of one tank by providing a waste water treatment device, in which a sedimentation section is provided below a diffuser and a passage is provided to return washing effluent water during the washing of filter medium to the sedimentation section. CONSTITUTION:In a waste water treatment device, a suspended filter layer 2 is held at an upper section in a tank 1 and a diffuser 4 is provided below said layer so that air is diffused during the treatment to feed oxygen to the layer 2. A sedimentation section 5 is provided below the diffuser 4 and a feed well 7 connected to a raw water inlet pipe 6 is provided in the section 5. An overflow launder 4 is provided at the upper part of the tank 1 to which a treatment water effluent pipe 15 is connected, while a washing effluent water return pipe 16 is connected to the launder 14. Further, preferably a passage is provided at the upper part of the tank 1 to return washing effluent water during the washing of filter medium to the section 5.</p> |
