The idenfification system is capable of recognizing hand pattern, comparing with registered one even if changed pattern and generating control signal to seccurity system. Then it is to provide exact, secune and reliable idenfification system, while eliminating the demerit of similar one using finger lengths. The total system includes memory (32) storing hand pattern data by registered number, 2-dimensional hand image sensor (reader) (20), CPU (30) composed of register X, Y (31) and memory (32) performing identification processor (33) and updating routine (34) for coincident hand pattern, identification action driver (40) and display module (50) showing OK/NO.
