<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the generation of a signal error even in the case of the switching attended by a change in a delay circuit of a line by setting the delay in a delay circuit of present system by means of the output of a frame phase comparator of the present system and a signal representing the setting of a delay circuit of other system. CONSTITUTION:Control circuit 4, 8 of 0 and 1 systems receive a frame phase signal from frame phase comparators 2, 6 of its own system and a delay setting signal outputted from control circuits of other system to set the delay in the delay circuits 3, 7 of its own system. However, the delaying amount set when its own system in designated as an active system is held as it is regardless of a delay setting signal from a control circuit of a standby system in the control circuit of an active system. Moreover, a delay time difference detected by the same phase comparator of its own system is added or subtracted to set the delay in the delay circuit of its own system. Thus, all delay times including the propagation delay time is kept always equal together with the propagation delay time of the transmission line and a signal error generated at the switching of the system is suppressed.</p> |
