Electronic counter - uses passive outputs of flip=flops instead of negation of active output for second input to each AND=gate of main circuit

A device for counting up to eight pulses on alternate lines (d, e) consists of a main circuit (1) with eight simple flip-flops (131) and 14 AND gates (132, 134), and a control circuit including one flip-flop (136), four AND gates (137) and two NOT gates (138). Four outputs from the main circuit are OR-gated (135) into the control circuit (2). The second input to each AND gate (134) on the output side is taken (c) from the preceding flip-flop (131). ADVANTAGE - Circuit is simplified by use of output from adjacent flip-flop instead of negation circuit.
