The clamping set for a shaft and hub connection consists of an inner, longitudianlly slotted clamping sleeve (1), and an outer lengthwise-slotted expandable clamping ring (2). A clamping-nut (4) is screwed onto the threaded part (6) of the inner clamping sleeve. The clamping nut is pivotally fixed to an annular clamping piece fitting between the inner clamping sleeve and the outer clamping ring. The clamp piece (3) can be moved axially towards the inner clamping sleeve and outer clamping ring. The clamping sleeve and/or clamping ring has a conical contact surface (16,17) for the clamping piece. USE/QDVANTAGE - The easily manipulated clamping set avoids the part being mounted on a shaft to move axially, during clamping.
