Film cutting feed - has pair of phase shifted cam drives to activate sets of pressured levers
摘要
The turntable shaper is for film fed out of the film coil interior in loop form for passing through a projector or cutter. It makes use of tipping levers arranged at the rim of the looped film and pass up through radial slots in the table off an underside cam and crank drive to be moved inwards by this at intervals. There are at least two separate time-shifted crank drives for as many sets of pressure levers (25) which engage at equal spacing and rotation-symmetrically on the film loop relative the turntable axis (1). The interval between the inward movement phases of the levers is governed by a set number of turns coiled up at the outside circumference. USE/ADVANTAGE - Film projection. Time-shifted drives power several rim pressure element for uniform film distribution and looping without film damage or scratching.
