PURPOSE:To select fast transmission optionally and to perform reception with simple constitution by receiving a multiplexed optical signal from a star coupler and extracting a video signal of desired light frequency selectively. CONSTITUTION:Signals which are converted into optical signals and sent out of respective optical transmitters 1b are multiplexed and distributed by the start coupler 3 as they are, and sent to respective terminals 11-1N in common. Respective optical receivers 1c of the respective terminals 11-1N receive the multiplexed and distributed signals from the star coupler 3 and switches and inputs selectively the optical signals of channels that the terminals require among the sent signals of the respective terminals 11-1N. Consequently, signal switching transmission of high quality is performed with the simple constitution and the signal switching device with high reliability is obtained. |
