The present invention relates to an improved pressure-relief device equipped with a tap. This pressure-relief device essentially comprises a body (1) with an inlet connection (2) and outlet connection (3) for gas, a cover (4) mounted on the body (1), a manometric membrane (5) mounted between body (1) and cover (4) and on the two faces of which are exerted respectively the pressure of the gas to be controlled and the action of a preload (calibration) spring (8), a stop-piece (10) projecting from the cover (4) and on which the membrane (5) can pivot, and a tap (R) consisting of a hand-wheel (11) mounted so that it can rotate on the cover (4) and on its internal face possessing a cam (12) capable, under the effect of the rotation of the hand-wheel (11) of closing the gas inlet (2) through the use of a curved spring leaf (14) retained in the cover and bearing on the manometric membrane (5). This pressure-relief device is intended, for example, to equip domestic appliances fed by butane or propane. <IMAGE>
