MULTISTAGE CHANGING NETWORK AND SWITCH

PURPOSE: To improve reliability obtained from multi-route network by using a controller for generating a bitrajectory control signal for a switch in a switching network and detecting and shielding all single faults. CONSTITUTION: The switch in the switching network consists of a single control part 61 and a single data part 62. The controller included in the switch consists of two controllers for receiving the same input and outputting complementary outputs and these complementary outputs form a bitrajectory control signal for controlling a multiplexer arranged between the input and output of the switch. All single faults in a signal route setting means can be detected by the bitrajectory control of signal route setting in the switch, so that a fault generation source can be specified. Consequently fault resistance can be sufficiently improved and reliability can be improved.
