The medical projector (1) consists of an illuminating dome (2)-(16) mounted so that it can swivel about various axes. It is provided on its largest periphery with a flexible protective bulb (22) of such a size as to form a system for gripping and manoeuvring the dome, and defining an inner chamber (29). This chamber, on the side facing the outer surface of the bulb (22), is bounded by a wall (31) thin enough to be deformed by manual pressure and to actuate means (32) (33-36) for controlling a device for unlocking and relocking the articulation stops of the supporting brackets. ……
