PURPOSE:To obtain a general musical sound signal like an electric guitar from a string vibration signal which contains many higher harmonic components by setting mutually different frequency characteristics of comb-shaped filters provided for plural sound sources. CONSTITUTION:Features of higher harmonic components when the string vibration signal is detected by a pickup are simulated by the comb line filters. Namely, the comb line filters each consisting of a delay means 3, an inverting amplifier 4, an adder 5, etc., are provided for the respective sound sources, and the delay time of each delay means 3 is controlled to set the dip of the comb line filter corresponding to a specific frequency. Then when the string vibration signal which contain many higher harmonics is inputted like a signal obtained by detecting string vibration by a pickup nearby a bridge is inputted to an input terminal 1, musical sound signals are obtained by the respective sound sources like the pickup is provided at a general position. Thereby, the musical sound signal similar to the general electric guitar can be obtained even from a string vibration signal having much higher harmonic components. |
