Rigid rubing is made by preparing a flexible tube comprising uncured thermosetting resin enclosed between two coaxial flexible sleeves, and shaping and locating the composite tube in a suitable jig or holder before curing the resin by exposure to heat/pressure/infusion by a catalytic reagent. Suitable for mfr. of pipe systems or for insertion into existing systems as a lining to resist or nullify cracking of established pipes for e.g. potable water or sewage distribution. Arrangement combines the strength and chemical resistance of a crosslinked pipe structure with the ease of one side installation of a flexible liner.
