The use of alkyl phosphoric acid cpds. of formula (I) or their salts in the mfr. of a medicament for the treatment of psoriasis is new. In (I) R = 12-24C opt. unsatd. hydrocarbyl (opt. substd. by halo) or Ch2CHR3CH2ZR4; R3 = 1-6C alkoxy or 1-6C alkoxymethyl; Z = O or S; R4 = 1-24C alkyl; X = O, NH or NR2; Y = O or NH; R1 = 1-8C alkyl; 2-8C alkyl which is unsatd. (sic) and/or substd. by halo, amino, (1-6C alkyl)n amine, OH, carboxy, 3-8C cycloalkyl or phenyl; and R1 = 2-t-butyloxycarbonylaminoethyl, 2-t-butyloxycarbonylethyl, 2,3-isopropylidenedioxy-prop-l-yl, (2,3-dibenzyloxy-prop-l-yl, 1,3-dibenzyloxy-prop-2-yl or 1-6C alkylamino (2-6C) alkyl when X=O; and R1 = 2,3-dihydroxyprop-l-yl when X=NH; R2 = 2,3-dihydroxyprop-l-yl, 1-8C alkyl or 2-8C alkyl which is opt. unsatd. and substd. as above. |
