<p>PURPOSE:To easily execute high-brightness and high-gradation display by providing an image distribution function part, a display function part, an image synthesis function part and a projection function part. CONSTITUTION:Display information 31 expressing an original image is inputted in the image distribution function part 32, separated to 331...33n is accordance with the level of gradation, inputted in the display function parts 341...34n as many as the separated information, and displayed as displayed images 35 on the respective function parts 34. The displayed images 35 are inputted in the image synthesis function part 36 en bloc, optically superposed and synthesized to from a reproduced original image 37. The control necessary for reproducing the original image for the respective display function parts 34 and the image synthesis function part 36 is performed by respective image synthesis control parts 38, for example, the display function part 34 and the optical part of the image synthesis function part 36 are adjusted by the control parts 38. The reproduced original image 37 which is synthesized is projected on a screen 40 through a projection function part 39. By such constitution, a projection type display device in which high brightness and high-gradation display are easily accomplished is obtained.</p> |
